Curtain Wall

Glazing characteristics:

  • Single laminated, Double glazed Ug 1,0 W/m².K or Triple glazed Ug 0,6 W/m².K

Aluminium profile system

CW 60 Solar: The ultimate aluminium profile system for our active curtain wall system that offers an aesthetic pleasing, convenience room to pass the cables as well as high tech solution. The CW 60-Solar aluminium profile system is fully compatible with other aluminium profile system of the CW range from Reynaers Aluminium to provide a total curtain wall solution.

This is a dedicated designed profile system that improve the installation and the maintenance of the photovoltaic system’s
components as cabling, connectors, and edge junction boxes. The new face caps are designed with minimal height to avoid shading mask on solar cells.

Electrical installation

All our active façade, Skylight, Roof and Sunshade systems are supplied including the electrical installation up to the inverters. 

We therefor make an electrical study, supply system components up to the inverters, connect the glass units in series, complete the wiring between the façade / Skylight and the inverter room and arrange the commissioning of the DC-side of the system.

Second Skin Façade

Support / Fixing system

S 3000 DU: A spider system for point fixed architectural glass. Invisible and less obstruction, this is the main advantage of deploying this system for our active second skin façade systems. This spider is the perfect match between design and quality.

Ventilated Façade / Cladding

  • Any cell coverage and layout resulting in power range from 60 to 170 W/SQM

  • Single laminated with an edge or a back mounted junction box. More design options with pre-selected colours: black, grey, white, blue, yellow, gold, bronze, and terra cotta red. High degree of customization to reach specific aesthetic visual rendering with limited efficiency losses.

Support / Smart Fixing system

The ideal support system to guarantee rear ventilation and high performance of our active cladding systems. The glass panels are mounted using wall brackets and L-profiles at a distance from the building’s outside wall. Besides the varied architectural possibilities, this system has considerable ecological and economic benefits:

  • Quick and easy cabling between glass panels.
  • Energy-saving façade: The variable lengths of wall brackets make it possible to install with any desired thickness of insulation. Energy savings leads to minimization of carbon dioxide discharge.
  • Back ventilating the façade controls the humidity of the building and ensures an optimum climate inside.
  • The system guarantees sustainable construction through recycling the components that are used.

System components

DC Wire sets

1x4² tailor-made double insulated single-pole wire sets assembled in the workshop with connectors on both ends for the connections between the glass panels.

String cables

1x6² double insulated single-pole flexible cables (class II) of 1x6² cross-section for the connections from the façade / skylight to the inverter room.

DC Switch Panels

Electrical metallic board with emergency break wired and preassembled in the workshop, containing mainly MX + OF 220Vac emission coils for powering-off all bipolar phases of the various power supply cables from the PV generator.

Inverters

Ideal inverter for large-scale commercial and industrial plants delivering extraordinary high yields with an efficiency of 98.4%. Highly flexible plant design thanks to Optiflex technology, two MPP inputs and a wide input voltage range.
